Preparation :

  1. Fresh spinach leaves are harvested and cleaned thoroughly to remove dirt and debris
  2. The spinach is blanched by briefly immersing it in boiling water, then immediately cooled in an ice water bath. Blanching helps preserve the color and nutritional quality of the spinach. After blanching, the spinach is drained to remove excess water
  3. The blanched spinach is then processed into a smooth puree
  4. The spinach puree is fed into a spray dryer. Inside the spray dryer, the puree is atomized into tiny droplets using a high-pressure nozzle or rotary atomizer
  5. Hot air is blown into the spray dryer, which evaporates the water content in the droplets. The dry spinach particles are collected at the bottom of the dryer chamber
  6. The resulting spinach powder is then analyzed for quality, including moisture content, color and particle size distribution
  7. The final spinach powder is packaged in airtight containers to prevent moisture absorption and maintain its shelf life
